We’re happy to announce the promotion of Aaron Bogucki to Vice President, Marketing. Based in Kobalt’s London office, Bogucki will oversee a more integrated marketing and digital marketing team focused on creative marketing campaigns and audience development strategy for AWAL’s Recordings’ artists in the UK.
Over the past 18 months, Bogucki has been building up AWAL’s global digital marketing and creative content team and forging strategic partnerships with third-party tech platforms. He has been a key player in developing Lauv’s impact globally in 2019, driving digital strategy for UK Top 10 albums for Tom Misch, The Kooks, and You Me At Six, as well as launching a YouTube Music partnership for Little Simz’ Mercury Prize-nominated ‘GREY AREA’ album. Bogucki also delivered a marketing partnership with H&M featuring AWAL artists in multiple marketing and promotional activations in H&M stores across the UK, and is currently overseeing campaigns for Lauv, Gerry Cinnamon, girl in red, Little Simz, Bruno Major, The Howl & The Hum, Millie Turner, Joesef and more.
“Since joining AWAL, Aaron has become an integral member of the team, taking our digital marketing offering to the next level and displaying strong leadership and creative vision,” says AWAL General Manager, Paul Trueman. “As we work with an increasing number of developing artists, with a deeper focus on building audiences, engagement and consumption, Aaron is the perfect person to spearhead our creative, integrated digital and marketing campaigns in his new role as VP Marketing.”
Bogucki adds, “I’m honoured to step into this role to continue AWAL’s commitment to true artist development. Our roster is full of incredible artists who are impacting and shaping culture globally on their own terms, and we’re proud to help them deliver on their artistic vision.”
Bogucki joined AWAL in February 2018 as VP, Digital Marketing. Prior to AWAL, he spent three years in New York as VP, Digital Marketing at Republic Records working with The Weeknd, Post Malone, James Bay, Ariana Grande, Florence + the Machine, Liam Payne, and more.
